Upon arrival at Lukla, you'll meet your trekking crew and prepare for the hike. The trail to Phakding starts with a gradual descent through pine forests and small Sherpa villages. Along the way, you’ll pass mani walls, prayer flags, and scenic rivers.
Highlights: First views of snow-capped peaks, the sound of the Dudh Koshi River, and a relaxing start to the trek.

Trek Duration: 5–6 hours.
Start the day by crossing suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River and passing through pine and rhododendron forests. Enter the Sagarmatha National Park, where your permits will be checked.
